Mercedes C220 AMG Sport Facelift Coupe - Incredible High Spec
Bought from a Cutter just after Christmas planning to use it to commute. Needless to say that didn't quite happen and the mileage has gone up by a few hundred only since purchase.
Only changes since purchase were sorting out a condensated headlight and a very comprehensive interior and exterior detail. Really is an amazing spec car, unlikely to be another out there with this level of options and everything works brilliantly, even the voice control picks up navigation instructions seamlessly.
Not planning to commute for another six months yet so decided to put it up as someone else may be able to use this fantastic car more than me.
For sale is my 2012 Mercedes Benz C220 CDI Coupe 7G Auto finished in the rare and sought after colour combination of Obsidian Black paintwork with contrasting Beige leather and piano black interior trims.
When looking for one of these cars I specifically wanted an auto coupe in this colour combination but without the nasty beige dash and plastics so I was lucky to find this one, with such a generous specification too.
It has covered just over 115k miles and has just 4 previous keepers. It has full service history, being serviced annually by Mercedes Benz up until 2019 / 104k miles and then a local Mercedes specialist just over a month ago.
I have all manuals, both keys and piles of receipts. The V5 is present in my name and my home address. The car is HPI clear and isn’t showing any signs of previous accident damage.
It was MOT'd this morning (19/12/20) and passed with no advisories as expected. I have recently put four brand new Dunlop Sport Maxx RT2 tyres (which with alignment cost me over £500)
This car has a huge specification with the vast majority of optional extras being fitted, these are as follows:
Upgraded interior to real leather (most are Artico artificial leather or a combination of this and cloth/alcantara)
Piano black interior trims.
Harman Kardon Stereo Upgrade
Fully electric, memory seats.
Comand Sat Nav with voice command.
7 speed automatic gearbox.
Electric folding mirrors.
AMG twin spoke alloy wheel upgrade.
Intelligent lighting system (Bi-xenon, adaptive lights, high beam assist etc)
Factory tinted rear and side windows
The only only non-standard item is a C63 grille, purely because it looks so much nicer the standard one.
The car is generally in excellent condition. Mechanically it has no issues. It returns circa 40mpg on short trips around town and will easily achieve over 60mpg on a long run. It’s a great drive and is extremely comfortable.
The gearbox is brilliant with no issues. The shifts are smooth and seamless, it has eco, sport and manual mode where gear shifting can be controlled manually via steering wheel paddles.
Cosmetically, its again in excellent condition as can be seen in the photographs (all taken 19/12/20). It doesn’t show any signs of previous accident damage; however you will find minor defects which commensurate the age and mileage, although nothing I could specifically mentioned and there are no nasty scratches or rust.
The wheels are in good condition and were refurbished just before I bought it. There are a few small marks on a couple of the wheels but barely noticeable (again, see photo’s).
The interior is again, in great condition and the beige interior with gloss black trim is really what sets the car apart for me. There is a small amount of wear to the seat bolsters to be expected but no rips / tears or major discolouration. Its obvious that the car hasn't been smoked in.
Everything inside the car is working as it should do including the air conditioning which is ice cold. The optional Harman Kardon sound system sounds incredible.
To summarise this is a very good example of a very good car. I’d be surprised if it isn't the best specified on the market and in my opinion is the best colour combination too. Hide description
