E92 325d (3000cc) M Sport 2011 (LCI)
I've owned this car for just over 3 years. Its done 99,334 miles (mileage won't really change now). Its the 325d so the 3000cc 204ps engine. It's been a great car easily returning 50MPG on motorway runs. Car is a really nice spec with a whole host of options including xenon DRL's, Sports Seats, M Leather steering wheel with paddle shift, anthracite headling, Bluetooth, BMW professional radio etc.
It's in great condition overall. Definitely had some paint here and there in its life (I had the front bumper painted when I bought it due to stone chips), but all to a decent standard, save for the tiniest mark on the back bumper (smaller than a 5p piece). Bonnet does have stone chips as this clearly hasn't been painted during its lifetime and to be expected with a car of this age and mileage. I caught the offside front corner of the bumper on a ramp a few years ago and have just touched it in. Its not very noticeable but a smart repair would be very cheap here if it bothered the new owner.
The wheels are all original. Given my target audience here (people in the know) these wheels can suffer from hairline splits. When I had them refurbed a few years ago I did have a couple welded. I've since caught the nearside rear wheel and its been touched in. It's not great, but ok when standing back. I have the original paint code so the new owner could get it redone for around £50 - £80 depending on where you go. All three other wheels are lovely. Centre caps are not original and could do with replacement.
Interior is in great condition overall. Drivers seat bolster is wearing as is common on all these cars. But I do have the correct colour leather touch up if someone wanted to refurb the bolster.
Im selling the car as 'part service history' although in reality it is FSH. I bought the car from a dealer who did not have the service book, but had researched its history which I then checked. The service is logged on the key with BMW. Since I've owned the car (from about 74,000 miles I've kept all receipts). History is as follows;
- 30/10/2012 - Mileage 15,800. Specialist Cars BMW Stevenage (oil service)
- 14/08/ 2014 - Mileage 32,967. Specialist Cars BMW Tring (full service + Brake Fluid)
- 17/08/2016 - Mileage 46,560. Lancaster BMW Milton Keynes (engine oil, micro filters and brake fluid)
So all the above is logged on the key. Thereafter it had one independent service;
- Sept 2017 - Mileage 68,435. Dave's Auto Services in Leicester (fulll service)
I then purchased the car and have kept all service receipts and maintenance invoices since. I won't include that here, but its been looked after by a local Indy BMW specialist and has been serviced, had ABS sensors replaced, rear prop coupling replaced etc etc. I've just had 12 months MOT put on it. It had an advisory for a rear offside shock, which I replaced the next day. Anyone who has worked on it since I have owned it has said its a lovely car. Tyres are all excellent. Brakes are excellent (I replaced these a few years ago). If you look at the MOT history it had an advisory for 'rough steering' (it had a knock on full lock). Again I had that checked by my Indy and it was the steering rack that had started to come loose (too many speed bumps and actually quite a common problem - 5 minute fix!). So that was sorted (receipt to prove). In other words anything that has required maintenance has been done immediately.
Car is owned by me, registered in my name. No outstanding finance. Im very particular about my cars (everyone says that and its not true at all given some of the rubbish I've looked at recently!). Its been cleaned most weeks, decontaminated, machine polished, waxed etc regularly and just kept in lovely order. Selling because I have another car now (actually not quite as nice as this one but it will be once I've spent some money on it!!). Hide description
